More than just a travel group!

Not only can we do great deals for those that would like to visit this very special place, but we will keep you up-to-date on all special offers and all the news from the MW as it gathers strength and moves towards completion in 2014.  We have now added links to Railbookers and Lastminute.com.

Check out our packages, we have a trip to suit all needs and all budgets. We are now also considering the needs of individuals that cannot travel with the club and instead wish to travel independently.

Travel Protection

In order to protect you, the customer/club member, we need to use the services of a professional travel consultant who has the backing of a ATOL guarantee.  In helping me to set up I have approached Kevin Hankin who has been in the travel business for over 20 years.  You can reach Kevin's web-site by clicking here

Through ATOL, the prices you pay are protected, except the fee we pay to the Miniatur Wunderland for entrance and tours (hence the deposit).  Quite reasonably ATOL can not protect you over anything which they have no control.  However, all hotel bookings, air or rail travel and transfers are guaranteed by charter.  Additionally, all bookings with the MW Club made via a credit card have an additional level of security.

Started my career as a travel consultant back in the early 1980’s dealing with all aspects of travel from individuals to groups, business travel to incentives. Initially began with a local independent High Street Travel Agent and later rose to Director/Manager level. In 2007 decided to take the plunge and set up on my own with the backing of Travel Counsellors and now believe I offer a more personal service. I am available when my clients need me and always aim to offer impartial advice and a professional service. To see some of my clients' testimonials, click here

Club history

I started the planning in March 2009, the website began 21 Jul 2009.

Web Site Report

January 2010

In January there were 611 visits to the website from 16 countries, 85% were new visits with the remaining visitors repeating for a second or more time.  The bounce rate has reduced to 57.28% which means that more visitors are reading more than the home page.  In fact there were 2026 pages visited and the time spent at the site was an average 3 minutes and 25 seconds.  Overall the number has decreased but the fewer are staying longer and reading more.   The most read page (apart from the home page) is the Hamburg Express.  To date there have been 3900 website visitors.

December 2009

December saw the best month so far with 760 vistors from 16 Countries.  In total 1683 pages were visited and the average visitor spent just over two minutes on site.  More importantly though the number of contacts made has increased and the number of new visitors now represents 90% (This 10% of visitors retuned to the site).  Over the next month the visitor numbers is likely to drop as I have reduced the amount of advertising on Google.

November 2009

To date the website has now been visited 2317 times (some 606 visitors this month alone).  The Bounce Rate has reduced to 70.96% (this is the number of visitors who simply look at the first page for less than five seconds) and the average time viewing of the site is increasing to 1 minute and 26 seconds.  Repeat visitors have also increased.  Finally, there were visitors from 17 different countries.

October 2009

Some 614 visitors came to this website during Oct 2009.  This time however, the profile changed thanks to the link provided by the MW Website.  Therefore, we had a large number of overseas visitors; comprising some 22 countries including 2 from Australia, 1 from New Zealand and 12 from Brazil.  Although, the number of visitors dropped 22% from September, pages visited and the time spent on the website actually increased.  Since July 21st 2009 there have been 1927 visits from 32 countries.

In addition, we also welcome visitors from the UKModelShop website.

September 2009

During September the website had 727 visitors who viewed 854 pages.  To date there have been 1288 visitors, viewing 1535 pages.  Once again just over a third of visitors registered from the London area.

August 2009

During August 2009, this website had 526 visitors, 198 of whom originated from London, with Manchester 29 and Birmingham 23 next.
