May 2010
At the end of April I stopped advertising the website on Google, this dramatically reduced the number of visitors to 135. These arose from the UK Model Shop website and from advertising in Continental Modeller. However, the average time spent on the website is just under 3 minutes with a 50% bounce rate.
April 2010
In April we received 463 visits with a bounce rate of 65.23%. The average time on the site reduced to just under two minutes. The running total is now 5356.
March 2010
In March we received 507 Visits from 16 countries. New visitors remained at about 86%. Visitors viewed 1284 pages with a bounce rate of 59.96% staying an average of 2 minutes and 20 seconds. The running total is now 4983.
February 2010
At the end of February 2010 we had 4386 visitors to the website to date. Of the 481 visitors to the site in Feb, 29 were from 16 different countries and 452 from the UK. The monthly figure continues to drop in the light of reduced advertising with Google. The bounce rate rose slightly on last month to 65.7% with 86.07% new visitors and hence 13.97% repeat visitors. The average person spent 2 minutes and 26 seconds on site.
January 2010
In January there were 611 visits to the website from 16 countries, 85% were new visits with the remaining visitors repeating for a second or more time. The bounce rate has reduced to 57.28% which means that more visitors are reading more than the home page. In fact there were 2026 pages visited and the time spent at the site was an average 3 minutes and 25 seconds. Overall the number has decreased but the fewer are staying longer and reading more. The most read page (apart from the home page) is the Hamburg Express. To date there have been 3900 website visitors.
December 2009
December saw the best month so far with 760 vistors from 16 Countries. In total 1683 pages were visited and the average visitor spent just over two minutes on site. More importantly though the number of contacts made has increased and the number of new visitors now represents 90% (This 10% of visitors retuned to the site). Over the next month the visitor numbers is likely to drop as I have reduced the amount of advertising on Google.
November 2009
To date the website has now been visited 2317 times (some 606 visitors this month alone). The Bounce Rate has reduced to 70.96% (this is the number of visitors who simply look at the first page for less than five seconds) and the average time viewing of the site is increasing to 1 minute and 26 seconds. Repeat visitors have also increased. Finally, there were visitors from 17 different countries.
October 2009
Some 614 visitors came to this website during Oct 2009. This time however, the profile changed thanks to the link provided by the MW Website. Therefore, we had a large number of overseas visitors; comprising some 22 countries including 2 from Australia, 1 from New Zealand and 12 from Brazil. Although, the number of visitors dropped 22% from September, pages visited and the time spent on the website actually increased. Since July 21st 2009 there have been 1927 visits from 32 countries.
In addition, we also welcome visitors from the UKModelShop website.
September 2009
During September the website had 727 visitors who viewed 854 pages. To date there have been 1288 visitors, viewing 1535 pages. Once again just over a third of visitors registered from the London area.
August 2009
During August 2009, this website had 526 visitors, 198 of whom originated from London, with Manchester 29 and Birmingham 23 next.
